Down is traditional insulating material. In case that we
protect down against the direct humidity, there is no better filling
with such compressibility, low weight and high insulating ability.
In combination with modern fabrics it gives an option to make
very popular lightweight jackets, which are also called „down
sweater“.
Compare with conventional thermal layer, these jackets and vest
are more efficient and its volume and weight is inconsiderable.
